" It took me 2 months to build the entire system at 6 to 8 hours a day. The first month I researched, did the math and finally accumulated the parts to build it. The second month I finished engineering it then fabricated everything. I used 2 sets of regular headers that I had kicking around and built the turbo headers. Next I mounted the intercooler in front of the aluminum radiator and built the appropriate mounting brackets for both. Next I tig welded together the carb hat that I built from an old 2 inch spacer that I had, some angle aluminum and a 90 degree aluminum elbow. Next came the Y pipe that connects the 2 turbos to the inlet of the intercooler. Then I cut up some 3 inch tubing that I got from my friend "biskit" and made the intake up pipe to the carb hat. After all that, I made the down pipes from the turbos turbine housing to the mufflers and on back. Now I could integrate the wastegates into the system.

After I got it fired up and running, it was a matter of tuning it and making it drivable. That has only taken a year and a half of my free time, but as of right now I am fairly pleased with the results. In July of 2003 the first  time out to the track it ran a 12.82 @ 106 MPH. That was with 6 lbs of boost, a full tank of gas and all of my tools and spare parts in the bed. Not bad for a truck that I guess weighs over 4000 lbs (I haven't weighed it yet)
